Here are some pictures of our house. Outside in the front yard, in the back yard and in the screened in porch, where my jungle now lives.

When one has 5 days off in a row, one can get some massive amount of work completed. Mark decided that he was going to begin taking down the shelves in the basement. What a mess that is going to be. He is going to re-use most of the wood to build a new wall down there so that I can pull my car into the house garage, and not the 2 car garage off the house.

OUR OWN PERSONAL STREAM

Here are a couple of pictures of our own personal stream. When it rains really hard here, we get the pleasure of having a nice size stream in our back yard. Mark is going to utilize this stream to
make a natural stream fed pond. He has dug it out once, but has decided to do it differently. He loves to tinker in the yard and I love it because he comes up with some very neat ideas. I like to sit back and watch him pull his ideas together. So long as I do not have to do the work and my nose is not out there with him I am happy for him to do what he likes doing.

Here are a few pictures of the flowers around our house. With almost an acre of land, there are a lot of different vegetation growing. We really love watching the birds come and go in around all the bushes and then to see them on the front porch building nests and all. I can tell you that we have our hands full with the house and then this BIG HUGE yard that Mark wanted. He is having fun cutting the grass with a push mower because he agreed to do that if we purchased this house. I think he is loving all the space that we have and he can play in the yard. Mark is getting ready to put together a garden for us. He has the plants and now he is going to put together his garden plot.
Lots of plans in his head and now trying to get them on to the property.

Enjoy;

This the stair well that Mark has put into the house. We no longer have to go outside and
thru the garage in the basement to get into the basement. Mark wants me safe when I come
home from work so late at night. Mark will put up the wall in the garage for me to be able to
park my car in the garage in the house instead of the garage that was built for 2 cars. Mark
has done a great job putting in the stair well. If you are tall, (Tara and James), you will have
to duck a little to go down the stairs. Not bad considering that there is only 80+ inches in
head clearance in our basement.

This is the house we bought in November, for those who have not seen it yet. We are making improvements as we go along and we will share what we have been doing, when we are doing our projects. Mark is having LOTS of fun trying to figure out the ins and outs of this house. We are making it to our comforts.

Enjoy our on going projects.
